For example, you can only access or use 91 octane gasoline then you can delete the maps that are for those running on 92 octane. While you are looking at the map you want to select, it is a good opportunity to delete any that you arenРІР‚в„ўt going to need from your Accessport tuner.

This may be something you want to do some research on ahead of time so you know what works best for your vehicle and the maps you want to install for best performance. Pick your mapР”В¬hoose the file you want to install on your Accessport. Once you are in the program and your Accessport is connected, look on the righthand side of your screen and you will see РІР‚СљImport File(s) to AccessportРІР‚Сњ. Your system may do this automatically when you open it up if Auto Connect is turned on. This should make the link between the two accessible and ready to use. Open the Accessport manager program and click on РІР‚СљconnectРІР‚Сњ. If not, they should be doing so after the next step. This tuner software lets you take care of datalog files and update the firmware as well. They are either under the same name or Accessport Updater.

ThatРІР‚в„ўs what makes manual transmissions so great, you have complete control. IРІР‚в„ўve tuned my own GM transmissions, and even then, I was never able to get the transmission to do exactly what I wanted it to 100% of the time. I personally find myself cruising around the 52-55 mph range for several miles and it likes to hang on to 5th gear at those speeds. I have gotten gear hunting between 3rd and 4th when going uphill at light throttle. I like how the trans down shifts to first at extremely low speeds, it keeps the engine from bogging in 2nd gear when pulling away from a rolling stop, something the Cobb tune did that I didnРІР‚в„ўt care for. Transmission tuning is extremely subjective. It has greatly reduced my tendency to use the paddle shifters/manual mode as I did with the Cobb sport tune. I have only used the Cobb DSG tunes and this is much better than those. IРІР‚в„ўve had the V2 tune for a little over 2 weeks. It made it difficult to drive smoothly without my intervention. It was also really jerky when coming to and going from a stop which was very unpleasant and unsettling sometimes. It was constantly hunting for gears with any amount of throttle so I ended up driving in manual most of time. This tune combined with their stage one ots map takes the car from a warm grin to a jaw clenching smile. I don't know if the tcu learning mechanism has any effect but I rarely get the gear chasing, maybe once or twice if I'm making an unprotected turn even after trying what mygolf and gtifl said about theirs. It's magic because it knows what gear I want to be in before I even know. The best compliment I can give it is I don't have to manual shift if I want to pass someone on the highway now. My commutes either an hour on the freeway or 45 mins city and the Ed's tune is perfect for both. I've had it on now for a couple hundred miles and it is far and beyond better than the Cobb sport ots tune in every way.
